NASA Reveals Further Artemis III Details

NASA have announced some new details and released some new renders of the plans for the Artemis III mission. Artemis III will involve the Orion spacecraft docking with two different prototype Moon landers in low Earth orbit, and will not travel to the Moon. They have confirmed that the docking with Blue Origin's Blue Moon Mark 2 prototype will involve a crew transfer, with up to two of the crew entering the lander's pressurised cabin. The SpaceX prototype, on the other hand, is just a regular unpressurised Starship with a docking port welded onto the nose, so the crew won't be opening the hatch during that rendezvous. International Space Station Activities

Following yesterday's arrival of Soyuz MS-29, the three new crew members aboard the International Space Station have received their safety briefing, taken their first sleep in space, and familiarised themselves with the station's systems. The cosmonauts deactivated the newly arrived Soyuz spacecraft and unloaded its cargo. After that the crew was back to routine research and maintenance tasks. [Source: NASA]
