Tiangong Activities

The CMSA published their weekly video on the activities of the taikonauts aboard the Tiangong space station. Zhu Yangzhu, Zhang Zhiyuan, and Lai Ka-Ying harvested a batch of rice as part of a study into the genetic stability of crops grown in space. They also conducted robotics research, took emergency decision-making assessments, conducted exercise research, replaced science samples, underwent medical training, and conducted an emergency drill for a depressurization scenario, along with routine cleaning and maintenance. Artemis Updates

NASA have published a presentation that was apparently shown at last week's IAC conference, giving several key updates on the Artemis program. It includes a concept of operations for the Artemis III mission, estimates timelines for the development of the Human Landing System (HLS) test articles being built by SpaceX and Blue Origin, and places the launch of Artemis III in Q3 of 2027. Much of this is likely to be covered with more context and detail in this Friday's news conference. [Source: NASA]
